Virtual assistance sounds like a dream job - work from home and flexible working hours. But tell us, how did you actually find yourself in the world of virtual assistants?
I started with virtual assistance out of a desire to change jobs, have more flexibility and freedom in my business life.

Drawing on my experience in e-commerce and administration, some of the main services I provide include:

As for unusual tasks, there was a situation when the client asked me to organize imported furniture from third parties non-EU countries, which included coordination with local suppliers, organization of transport and dealing with documentation for customs clearance. If you had to describe your "superpower" as a virtual assistant, what would it be? Speed, organization, multitasking...?
My "superpower" as a virtual assistant would be organization. Although speed and multitasking are also important skills that I use every day as a virtual assistant, yet the ability to keep everything under control, schedule tasks and set priorities allows me to be efficient and successful in all aspects of my work. Good organization helps me easily adapt to the needs of clients and maintain a high level of professionalism, even when working on several projects at the same time.
You have completed our course "Virtual assistant - how to become and how to survive." What attracted you to join the GoThrive platform and how did that experience influence your path?
The GoThrive platform attracted me because of the possibility of connecting with clients, but also because of the support in developing a virtual career assistants. Yes, it really is, especially at the beginning of your career because it often requires patience, research and persistence. However, The GoThrive platform made that process much easier.

Tell us a little about working with clients - how do you manage to adapt to their different needs and work styles? Any fun moments to share?
Adaptability is key when working with clients with different needs and work styles. Each client has his own specific requirements, from the way he communicates to the types of tasks he expects to be performed. That's why it's important to have open communication, set clear expectations and adjust the approach according to the needs of each client.
Being a virtual assistant means working with various tools. Which tool has become your best friend in your daily work?
My best friend in my daily work is the Monday tool, which I learned about during training and I was delighted The GoThrive platform provided me with free education to become a Monday expert. I use it for organization tasks, monitoring projects and cooperation with clients. Monday allows me to keep track of all commitments and deadlines, be it I work alone or with a team, which helps me stay organized and efficient. In addition to Monday, I often use Slack to communicate with the GoThrive team and Google Workspace to manage documents and calendars. These tools help me with multitasking and make it easier to keep track of projects on a daily basis.
How did you feel when you first realized that you "made it" and that your job as a virtual assistant now brings you a stable income?
I realized that effort, time and persistence now bring concrete results in the form of a stable income, and that by doing work which I love, from the comfort of my own home, as much as I want and when I want. That moment was the turning point she gave me confidence and a sense of accomplishment, knowing that I have built a career that allows me financial security and flexibility, which she always wanted. I finally have enough time for myself and my family.
Having a steady income meant that I no longer had to worry about constantly looking for clients, I could focus on the quality of their service and long-term cooperation. I felt proud, but also relieved, knowing that I was on the right track way.
The world of virtual assistance offers a lot of freedom, but also challenges. What challenges make you think the most and how do you solve them?
Although virtual assistance offers freedom and flexibility, it also brings a series of challenges that require constant adaptation.
The biggest challenges that make me think include:
Time Management – Working from home can make it difficult to separate work and personal life. That's why I use strict routine and planning, relying on time and task management tools to stay organized.
Constant training – Technology and tools are constantly changing, so it is necessary to keep up with new trends.
Therefore I regularly attend training and improve my skills in order to be competitive and able to provide the highest level of service to their clients.
What would you say to someone who is thinking about entering the world of virtual assistants, but is not yet sure if it is for them?
I would advise everyone who is thinking about entering the world of virtual assistants not to be afraid to take the first step. It's important be open to adaptation and do not expect instant success, but be patient and persistent in finding clients and building relationships with them. It is important to invest in yourself and education, because the knowledge and tools you acquire can help you to you do better at work. If you are organized, like to help others and have a desire to work independently, virtual assisting can be a great choice, and over time can turn into a stable and fulfilling career.
